The year compilations generally takes two to three hours, researching the music a couple of hours, and recording another couple of hours. If there's an interview, it can take several hours of editing.

we have now changed broadcast times of brit rock to sat 4 pm till 7pm uk time
It depends on which station you're listening to. Usually between two and three hours.
When does your show finish? Seems to be going on forever. I usually like this station. Bring back the good music!
